My name is Lucy, I’m 27 years old and I have a severe anxiety disorder that has left me virtually housebound and unable to work for over 4 years. My condition is proving very difficult to treat. This blog is about my experiences of depression and anxiety both past and present. I’m aiming to reduce stigma, dispel some of the myths and misconceptions, put a face to mental illness and highlight positive and negative stories in the media, as and when they arise. I plan to vent, educate, advise, offer support and generally enlighten others about mental illness. I also occasionally post about other conditions I have including ME and the things that help me get through each day like crochet, baking and adult colouring (I have a second blog that I use to post reviews about adult colouring books which can be found here.)
